WELCOME!

Welcome to Dungeon Forge!

Inspired by games like Minecraft, the Sims, and the Super Mario Maker franchise, Dungeon Forge is a chill, single-player game where you are thrust into a medieval-themed building experience. Take your time to build your own dungeons while listening to calming medieval music. Your dungeons can be large with winding hallways, or big with grand auditoriums-- it's all up to you!

The game at this point in development could be best described as an engine. All your builds will be saved so you can come back later if you please.

BEHIND THE SCENES INFO

Dungeon Forge began as a test project to see if I could create a grid-based building system like that found in the Sims. However, the more the project was being worked on, the more I got invested and the more time I put into it. Eventually, the game grew into something that I saw potential in, and it became more than just a "test project".

The game began development in March of 2024 and was created using the Unity Game Engine, with models created using MagicaVoxel and Blender. Textures were created using MagicaVoxel and Gimp.

If you encounter any bugs or pressing issues, please let me know! Any feedback is appreciated, and I am open to constructive criticism.

Have fun building!
