Reconnaissance
ABOUT:
THIS WAS ORIGINALLY MY MICRO JAM 016 ENTRY! I FIXED SOME BUGS AND INCORPORATED FEEDBACK! (https://bloodyfish.itch.io/reconosance)
Inspired by classic arcade games, Reconnaissance is a game about being stranded in space and having to venture out into the unknown...
In a horrible turn of events, your space station got stuck in an asteroid field and got badly damaged. After critical parts are sent flying, it's up to you to venture out and recover them. There's one catch-- you only have enough oxygen to last you two minutes...
Can YOU survive this reconnaissance mission? Or will you be lost in space forever...?
DIRECTIONS:
Use your LEFT MOUSE BUTON to grapple from asteroid to asteroid. Asteroids are scarce, and since they explode on impact (not damaging), ensure you don't run out!
Venture out to find the missing parts-- USE THE MINI MAP to help you locate them. Each part will increase your oxygen levels by 10 seconds.
Once you find all the parts, return back to the space station!
Avoid large asteroids (indicated by red lines)!
DIFFERENT MODES:
Easy, Medium, and Hard Difficulty! Each difficulty comes with a different number of lives, and the density of the asteroid field varies as well. The amount of parts you need to collect also depends on the difficulty.

very nice game, great job brother
Thanks! Any feedback?
The game seemed well-made to me, but if you really want some feedback, I would suggest adding a tutorial or some text regarding the controls to better guide the players.
Btw, I made an update incorporating this feedback! There is now a grapple indicator that follows the mouse. It makes movement way more smooth.
